Been making more Stars and thought they would look good with a light in it. Mocked this up for a test.
Think its worth pursuing so will make a more permanent base for the lamp holder, probably on a lathe.

I love my commissioned wooden star you made for me, it hangs beautifully in my cabin in my garden, I have been wanting to fill up my sealing with these incredible intricate art pieces and been thinking of ordering another.
ReplyDeleteThese are really fascinating, I love the idea of it being a light, I imagine the reflections of the light from the star is like gazes. I really love them. I would like to purchase one, so please keep me updated when you have completed the design.
